It features what Gull calls the "Dry" design at the tip of the snorkel. This design is extremely effective in deflecting water away caused by waves, and it prevents water from enterting the snorkel tube. The snorkel itself is also very streamlined, therefore divers will not feel it while diving underwater.

Gull CANAL Dry snorkels prevent any unnecessary surface jaw fatigue when using the snorkels. It attaches to the mask easily with a simple yet effectient clip, so you do not need to worry about the snorkel getting "lost" underwater.

The Gull CANAL Dry snorkel also features a flex design. This means that you can have a good range of head movements, while using the snorkel. Flex design snorkles have been the norm in the industry now, as compared to ancient J-tube fixed style snorkels.
